EVInstallHub (evinstallhub.com) is a small indie directory of EV charger installer listings. This page is an honest description of how the site handles information — not a lawyer-written privacy program or a guarantee of any specific legal rights.

If something here does not match what you see on the site, email us and we will correct it.

EVInstallHub helps people find local EV charger installer listings and request quotes. We also let installers claim a listing, sign in, and update some business details. Listings are compiled from public sources such as Google Business profiles and installer websites. EVInstallHub does not independently audit licenses or insurance.

When you use a form on this site, we receive the fields you send. Today that includes:

• Contact form: name, email, subject, and message. We email that to ourselves so we can reply.
• Quote / lead requests: name, email, optional phone and ZIP, message, and the installer you asked about. We store the request and try to email it to that installer.
• Reviews: name, email, rating, optional title, and review text for a listing.
• Listing claims: your name, email, phone, and business details so we can review a claim.
• Installer login: the email used for a magic-link sign-in so a claimed installer can reach their dashboard.
• Installer profile edits: business details a signed-in listing owner chooses to update (such as phone, website, or specialties).
• Installer waitlist: if you use that form, name, email, and optional business / plan interest.

Public listing pages may already show business contact information compiled from public sources. Claiming a listing does not automatically remove that public information.

• Hosting and performance: the live site is hosted on Vercel and loads Vercel Speed Insights there. That is performance telemetry, not a separate marketing analytics product such as Google Analytics.
• Spam and abuse controls: public forms are rate-limited by IP address and checked for obvious spam. We may log those checks when a submission looks abusive.
• Account cookies: installer sign-in uses auth cookies. The admin tools use a separate session cookie.
• Compare tray: installer names you add to Compare stay in your browser's session storage until you clear them or close the tab.

We use it to operate the directory: answer messages, pass quote requests to installers, review claims, show reviews, keep accounts working, and reduce spam. We do not sell personal information.

Emails are sent through our email provider (Resend). Listing and form data are stored in our database (Supabase). Hosting, auth, and performance tools process data as needed to run the site.

We are a small directory, not a consumer-reporting agency. We do not independently audit every installer. Public listing data can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Our Terms of Use explain that we do not warrant installer quality or availability.
